'Young Woman with a Pink' draws its carved patterns from the Hans Melming painting of the same name. It was made for an exhibition during London Craft Week to raising funds for FiredUp4 - a charity that works to make ceramics accessible to young people in the UK. The brief was to create a stem vase, so a painting was chosen that features one single flower.​
